The lampshade materials have been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. The shade can be used in Europe and the UK (includes converter plug). It is recommended you use low energy bulbs with your lampshades. Low energy bulbs are energy efficient and cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings.
