‘Mitsy’ is an open edition, signed, hand burnished, lino print – on lovely textured 250g/m acid free paper. It would be a great addition to gallery wall or stand it on a shelf with a candle and some plants to create an interesting corner. I love a home filled with art! It’s available as an unframed print on its own or you can add a patterned mount to make the print pop.
The print is inspired by a tiny, silver tea and coffee pot set that used to be my Nan’s. Growing up I was always fascinated by it, it took pride of place in a glass display cabinet, in between the artificial flowers that sat on top of her wedding cake and set of tiny glass swans. It now sits on my desk in my pink studio. Even though my Nan’s name was Sheila, as small children we called her Nanny Mitsy, Mitsy was the name of her lovely dog.
